HALLELUJAH!!! man... i've sent so many letters. i think i can write a whole essay in just one day today. yay, now i'm stress-free for a few seconds... haha. i'm just glad. this short film thingy is really giving me a lot of fun (and stress) but i'm glad this thing kick-started my holidays. find it a holiday made worthwhile now.
well, a few days ago, i was just really mad at this da vinci code thing going on. was fuming on the bus quietly on my way to the film meeting last sunday. because some writer in the straitstimes wrote this biased article against christianity and their movies. i mean, how many people is this da vinci thing gonna mislead? sure, it made me think twice and three times about what i'm believing in, but yes, now i know more about my faith and i'm sure my God is real more than enough to prove this whole thing a scam in itself. but u see, that's only me (and a horde of other christians.) what matters right now is that others who have yet to discover the love and power of God, especially those who just began their spiritual walk with God, is being misled and they are now so confused (whether they know it or not). of course, its no fault of theirs. but spiritual things cannot be rushed. just like how our education cannot be rushed but must be taken in step by step. a pri 1 student cannot understand the same depth of a university degree module as well as a university student himself. the brain must develop from the basics first right? same for spiritual learning and understanding. my analogy may not be accurate, but of course, God does gives exceptions to some people...
how can some people just accuse what others believe in just because of some unreliable facts that's written in a book?( and now made into an apparently badly-reviewed film...) by the way, for all those people who don't know, the bible is actually more than a dozen times more accurate than the sources collected by dan brown. (as also stated by those people who study historical sources) how ironic if people rather believe him than the bible...
i just can't stand it when God shows a miracle in front of your eyes, and people forget it, and then say that God isn't real. oh come on... even in my church, someone who was wheelchair bound for months came in for our easter production, and left the church being healed. SHE WALKED OUT ON HER TWO FEET! yes, its real. no, nothing was pre-arranged. please believe it. out there, people have been healed of lip cancers ( it was caught on video), been saved by a gang of murderous robbers ( it was testified by 29 witnesses who had prayed for this guy), and haha... , saved from food poisoning from a dinner table where everyone else present at the table had food poisoning... and lots more, ask me if u wanna hear more REAL stories. now, if the name of Jesus isn't powerful, then please tell me what else is more powerful than this. why trust in something weak when you can trust in the most powerful God? why go to hell when you can go to heaven? and i'm not near talking about taking the easy way out. cos things aren't always easy...
ok, i just had to get that out. i might explode if i don't.
