First week at Perth

Hi All and Happy 2010!

It's been a while since I updated this blog. Am currently in Perth till CNY eve. It's really a trip away from home. Wish I could upload all my pictures but I'm using a prepaid internet and we are watching the megabytes like some women watch calories. Well anyhows, here are a few. :) More to come!

We visited King's Park nearby. It's a national park next to the bay and it is lovely! Lots of grassy lawns, fountains, even a Henderson Wave lookalike feature! We went back there again today to  play frisbee along the grassy stretch with his friend there today. The weather is very nice here too, sunny yet they have cool breezes sometimes and it can get quite chilled at night.

After Qin's class, we toured around the UWA campus. It's an awesome campus. Love their buildings and it's got a very romantic feel to it. Furthermore, there are clear blue skies almost everyday. Lovely. We sat on the grass in front of the clock tower to relax under the tree, not something I'd do back in town cos of humid mud.

Interesting things around campus. This is taken at the ARTS building at UWA. I like it a lot. Says a lot about the Arts course and I agree. ;)

We walked about Perth City but I didn't have my camera with me. =( No worries, I'll be back there again so will be taking more photos. On the whole, I feel like I'm really living here although I almost have no purpose here. haha. Basically just relaxing and not really rushing to do anything much besides resting. Hence, we've been doing lots of cooking and grocery shopping, which brings me back to the point about living here. haha.

My skin gets dry easily over here without sg's humidity, though I love the dryness in a way as my face gets less oily and perspire less. Slabbing on lots of sunblock and moisturisers around that i'm making the bubble space around me smell.... haha!~

Will try to update soon!
G'd day mates!
