well, first of all i was disappointed.
cos my negatives for B&W turned out all wrong and i ended up with nothing. which meant i had to re-shoot my pictures again. learnt to load the film the right way this time thanks to jiahui. so friday's overcast day, i left sch and took the long way home, looking for inspiration (the north mrt line from Jurong East Interchange). Suddenly decided to alight at Yio Chu Kang station and just headed towards the sports complex. walked around, and followed a bunch of little boys in army cameo uniforms. i wondered where they're headed to? probably some headquarters. so i just follow them to this new place. there was a temple nearby. a bus deport. and lots of factories.
there was a bunch of workers just sitting around near the temple. they immediately reminded me of my bad experience with a foreign immigrant at jurong point (girls, jurong pt isn't THAT safe) and i wondered why i was shooting alone again after my resolve to get company for my future shoots. but i do enjoy shooting by myself at times. oh the contradictions...
After that i went to church for faith impartation service. it was awesome. I still remember the AFRICAN MAN from last year. he's so enjoyable to learn from. learnt new things from him and i thank God. I had forgotten how powerful miracles were. and for 2 nights when i went back to service, i saw so many miracles of how ppl with pain in their body and lumps, injured limbs and all got healed and the pain left! the ppl who experienced all these miracles were wow-ed themselves! "Don't believe also cannot arh!" somebody said. I'm so encouraged.
This elderly chinese-speaking lady was the cutest. she felt no more pain. and she went up to testify. at the end of it, she wondered aloud, " 很奇怪哦?" (it's very strange isn't it?) haha.. and P.Brian told her that it was a miracle from God. Another one had her blurry vision cleared. and she could see clearly! wow. she was so happy.
I know a God who can do the impossible. awesome.
