LA pictures!

This is my school at UCLA. It's at MELNITZ HALL. The buildings here all look like some sort of palace. Even the interiors have high tower like structures, pillars and prettily decorated ceilings. I can't believe they make a school look so nice. I mean, maybe NTU just needs to brush up on architecture. *1st pic: Food portions are HUGE!


This is the opening premiere of Transformers. Reporters and camera ppl are all there. There's a giant yellow transformer on the blue carpet and the police has sealed off the roads for lots of limos to come in. Stars of Transformers were there. (There were so many ppl I could only take these decent pictures.. if they're decent.) STar-struck ppl might recognise a few faces. Too bad Steven Spielberg didn't turn up. =( The yellow car was a prop for the Transformers movie.


LALA Hollywood. Hardly anyone checks their train passengers for tickets, but we got checked at the Hollywood metro. well... we took pictures with the security guards in the end. hee. 6th pic is of me and the TINY Hollywood sign on the mountain. It's so far away. There was a Spongebob running around, and a Jack Sparrow impostor too. But who can beat Johnny Depp? the impostor looks like he just woke up from the dumps... ain't pretty even with makeup on. =p


And check out the stars I found on the floor! Yeah, even Woody Woodpecker is in it. I was looking for Charlie Chaplin but cannot find... sad. Then my group couldn't find the place where they had the handprints of the stars too. sad. but its ok. It was a nice walk down Hollywood land.

I miss Singapore food. Remember the song (Californication, i think) with the lyrics "Chinese food makes me sick..." , I think i agree... Someone bring me a katong laksa or a prawn noodle on their way here please? hee.

Today's America's Independence Day! I really wonder how they celebrate their national day. So the plan is, we're going to watch a Dodgers baseball game at the Dodgers Stadium, and there will be some fireworks after the game (no matter who wins). I hope it's good! =)
