WOW.
I've never had such an experience in my life. Here i am, in one of the most beautiful places in the world, i'd figure. Utah is just incredible. It's surrounded by mountains on every side and they're like next-door neighbours.
I don't know where to start writing about it now. mm...
Remember that there's this verse that says that if people were to stop praising God, even the rocks will cry out? (Luke 19:39-40)
As we were flying out of Utah, from the plane, I saw the most beautiful ocean i've ever seen (or was it a lake?). The water had patterns and sparkled so marvellously that it looked like it was raining. I looked around out of my window seat window and saw no rainclouds or rain. The sun was shining so brightly. I thought i could hear the waters singing. no kidding.
Utah's mountains were the highest ones i saw from the airborn craft that aerospace ppl would know very well about. It enclosed the space/ city within it. And they were so majestic in their forms. I actually brought all my geography back on this trip. The mountains were lying on a fault line. which means that earthquakes moved about that line. When I was climbing a mountain on saturday(US time) of the days, I stood on one of the cliffs with another family of mountains right in front of me. it was absolutely breath-taking. majestic. The mountains showed for themselves, how they glorify God. They are like reaching out to God. Every earthquake would send them growing a little bit more upwards. Sometimes creating more of a valley. A river ran through the valley. It was a very peaceful sight to behold.
So much for 4 days in Utah. I love it there. It is so safe! People don't lock their doors in the carpark! I couldn't believe it. LA is so harsh in comparison. but more rowdy. Some skateboarders pretended to run into me while i was crossing the road. and they were just kids. tsktsk. i hear police sirens everyday. some guy was yelling and scolding randomly in the street in my direction... i was stranded even before i could check in! haha.. so many things happened. But i'm safe and still enjoying life.
Pictures will be up soon!
