SO GLAD.
i'm so happy that things turned out alright for everyone. In fact, it went well. Its especially rewarding to see everyone's films on the big screen. Its like seeing the result of all those sleepless nights and long days in the editing lab. The best film award goes to Elgin and i think he deserves it. its totally awesome and so real. well done!! and well done to everyone else too! i felt like i could connect to them and that's really an important element in a film. There were so many that left a mark. Such that whenever i meet something later on, i can be reminded of such and such a film by who and who. fantastic.
And Fly By Night was totally fun too. haha. Kudos to ADM!!! We rock.
3 out of 5 teams got into top 10. super.
I felt so proud of our school and of the people, i know they all worked hard.
and as elgin puts it nicely,
"There is no such thing as a B grade movie because only a true filmmaker will understand that every frame in a film is accompanied by sweat and blood!"
I think our school is going somewhere. i see all the paintings, all the animations, stop-motions, short films, digital artworks, photography, etc, i'm just so excited for everyone, knowing that they are good in whatever they put their hands to do. especially when it comes with their heart and soul as they put in the labour to make it work. i must say that i was amazed at what my friends have achieved.
Last day of Year 2 Sem 1: 27th Nov 2006. 7.30pm.
