Non-baking!

Yesterday Jo came over and we had our first ever baking session! Finally!
It was really funny cos even though I had printed the recipe from online, both of us just weren't the instructions reading type... if you know what i mean. But Jo had the cake experience to get us out of certain messes. Thank God.

But it was hilariously fun. right jo, right right? haha.

To all the rest of my very experienced and profit-earning cheesecake-baker friends, please shed some advice on how to make a better cheesecake. haha. That's one of the few cakes I can make at home now partly (or largely) because I don't have an proper oven to make any other bake cakes.

Very simple 5min decorations BEFORE the cake has actually set. oops.
You may notice the lines in the cake.

My dad woke me up at 6am this morning after attempting to cut the cake to ask if he could eat it. haha. WELL, the cake had not set yet and so the soft cheese and cream simply oozed and blended into itself again. haha. Needless to say, the cake has been scarred. poor cake. but it still tastes good. =) But wah, I need a lot more practice!

haha. I remembered the makers, specially made 3 cakes to celebrate the April babies in our cell about 3 years ago. There were more than 14 of us and we finished the cake good. Oreo cheesecake, strawberry swirl cheesecake, and i can't remember the last flavour. Original or Blueberry maybe. It was a lot of cheesecakes!

Hope to make more little little things whenever I can.
