Pocky Party!

I had another Joanne day today!

We went to AMK hub in this morning and bought some pretty random things that we felt like eating for branch that day, and headed towards Upper Pierce Reservoir for a nice peaceful day out with the calm rippling waters, the fluffy clouds, the very comedic and expressive trees, huge ants with tiny ant friends, and the sunny sun with our attempted NTUC-Fairprice/AMK basement-wares-picnic.

It was my first time down the sloping valley to the waterside. The grass behind us, the water before us. oh the melody of nature~~ lalala

It was nice to hang around the benches, we took our own romantic strolls along the bridge under a black umbrella (probably looking ominous from afar!) and just soak in the atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of city life... and tuned in.

oh i saw my relatives there too. heard they were trying to catch lobsters?!?! hahas. Reservoir got lobsters meh?

Today, we also met this very special taxi driver. He's the most positive taxi driver i've ever met. He had some trouble finding where we were but still had such a calm, patient and positive outlook to it all.. something worth learning from. He also paid us a very nice compliment and made me happy. haha.

In the end we cooled off with nice bubble tea and my childhood favourite Iced Gem biscuit (I never knew the name of it).

I have a tan now!
