Those of you with Christian friends might find them all disappearing from your radar last week because apparently it is a week in June with the most church camps.
Well, I was probably one of them. Although it wasn't exactly a camp, but I attended 2 conferences back to back, Monday to Friday. What an experience! No regrets. I am so refreshed.
Zoe Ministry was their 3 time in Singapore this June. Pastors from South Korea came over to Singapore (and Malaysia too) to minister and preach. I saw one of the local young 10 year old boy go up to the front because the pastor had sensed that someone had shoulder pains due to his arm lengths being different. My goodness, as they prayed, everyone literally saw his arm grow! From where I saw, I think his one arm was probably about 2 cm off. There were other healings there too. Isn't God cool?
Life Conference back at Trinity was, besides it being full of new insights and learning, we were also all very well fed. Snacks and tea breaks in between breakfast, lunch and dinners surely kept our stomach from growling. Cass and I even attended the workshop on "Manhood - Living as a Strong and Godly Man" by Rev Les Bowling for fun and awareness. It was pretty good and generic enough for us to not feel left out.
I must say, our Apostle Naomi Dowdy is so admirable. I have renewed respects for her as I attended one of her workshops, "Guideposts to mark our Race". I feel more gung-ho for life! haha
Qin finally landed on 20th June! The cold aircon at the airport made the wait more anxious even though the plane only landed 5 mins later than the estimated time. And then... there was happy and glad relief. 1month is all we have this time. Seems so short, knowing how long you have to wait for the next meeting. But I can't help feeling any less blessed. =)
2 of my brothers caught a high fever this week and I was so worried it was the H1N1. Thank God it isn't and they're both now well and able to go to school for exams and lessons. How easy it is to spread viruses, especially when we're all living in the same house and helping each other get well.
Please take care, everyone.
