Laptop bag!

I made my own laptop case!

It's been playing on my mind to make one myself, just for the fun of it. It was really enjoyable! It took me 2 days to hand-sew everything. And the funniest part is that I had no clue how to make it. I probably should have just searched the net on possible sewing templates/techniques and such but my impulse came suddenly and before I knew it, I was conveniently at a Daiso (one of my favourite places) at Plaza Singapura looking at the available materials and hence, didn't have the time to do that.

Everything was done with 'agar-ation'. I did not touch a ruler or pen/pencil to do any markings. Just put my laptop on it and whack the measurements. Not very professional la. haha. Even my sewing also... aiyo. But I'm proud of my 1st attempt/achievement! haha =)

Had wanted to make a flap over the top to cover an edge of the laptop/zip part, then apparently i had made it too short (thanks to my generous cushion stuffing..ok, it could have been more), so it flaps over like that like a puffy mitten. I like my brown zip though. hehe.

Cost of handmade laptop casing:
- $14 of Daiso products
- about 12hrs of my precious Time
- Lots of thread + 1 needle
- 1 flabbergasted boyfriend who tells me that if I needed a bag, I could have asked him... hahaha.

At least I know how it roughly works now. =) Now I know I've tried something new this year. =D
