Praise God!

It's another lap into the race and running.

The past 2 weeks had been nothing but a pile of blessings, buckets full of favour and a storm of miracles!

During the TCC tri-annual camp week, I was going about my own stuff when it suddenly dawned on me that I wasn't at church camp and that I ought to do something. And this something is to do a documentary for my parent's church camp which was the week right AFTER the TCC 'extraordinary' camp.

Slowness and procrastination has sometimes gotten the bad side of me at times, but in 1 week, I prayed and managed to get the approval for filming during the camp, arranged for leave and work swap, found a couple of people for the documentary, secure the camera equipment, do research and pack! haha. I was overjoyed... and full of nerves.

I bet God even threw in a few extras for me without me asking:
- free access for filming from camp pastor
- free equipment
- cheap mini dv tapes
- a wide angle lens
- an extra mic & cable
- people to be interviewed and they even recommended people for me to interview! what a support!
- made new friends... someone from Nigeria, Africa! a Korean too. and the little kids from both Singapore and Korea. =)
- and a personal encounter with God. (The most precious)

Things that happened before the camp:
I got to borrow some DVDs from the company boss and prayed that what I borrow will be relevant. They WERE. wow.
One on "Jesus Camp", and another on "Best Boy/Best Man", (about the pretty cool life of a mentally retarded boy/man). Learnt from both which were both quite relevant to this particular camp too. The surprise came from "Best Boy" cos I thought I borrowed that for fun. [rong thinks, "cool".]

It's really was amazing for me. I honestly didn't expect this camp to be so powerful and personal. A lot of things has changed from the last time I visited them and for the better too. All I hope for now is that I do this documentary with my all and do it good.

May God bless it... cos its not mine.
