One of the most amazing Stop Motion pieces I've ever seen.
It is also one of the most Emotional Stop Motion I've seen.
"Madame Tutli-Putli", by Chris Lavis and Maciek Szczerbowski (from Canada), uses stop-motion animation (with very possibly live-action eyes, i'm guessing here) and sculptured figures to tell a story of a woman's journey on a train. She's surrounded by odd and crude nitwits and comes to question whether what she is experiencing is real or not in this nightmarish 20mins.
This is one of the top 10 movies nominated this year for best live-action and animated short film in the 2007 Academy Awards.. aka Oscars.
(I hope I got that right.)

Her eyes are beautiful! and very very impressive stop motion work there. you have to see it! In fact, all the characters' eyes look like real even though the body is sculpted. I was distracted by the material in the characters' bodies, but that makes it all the more impressive by how they look so alive.
Makes me wanna do stop motion!! =)
