It's yet another day at sunny NTU where it rains pretty much everyday and night. Only that I can't tell cos I'm enclosed within 4 very pretty white and plain walls in a room of 2mx3m with aircon, a fan that I don't use, 2 bean bags one red and green, a pile of props from a friend who uses this room as a storeroom, my store of food and snacks, clothes, toiletries and camera, there used to be some camera equipment that's no longer here, and a super cool mac computer which I stare at almost the whole day everyday while I'm here.
It's really comfortable and very cold which even the jacket i bought from ucla still leaves me cold sometimes. yes. Spirit of LA where it's cold even when the sun is shining. It's awesome to hear of climate-defying things, ain't it? I'm probably a heat-loving thing anyway.
In happy-ville of my school, I see people walk around with hands stretched out in front of them like walking zombies, which is really cool cos halloween was just over, so I think they're really carrying a very artistic spirit around with them.
Not surprisingly, since today is Deepavali, the festival of lights, and a public holiday, students often like to spend their holiday at their favourite places. And of course, there're still hordes of student zombies who celebrate Deepavali-- Halloween style. Yeah! Isn't it totally awesome?
Ever think there was some sort of jinx going on sometimes? They're such playful things and they have so much fun that sometimes I think can be one of them. Whatever I touch will become unusual. Yeah, superpower.
Even in a pretty environment, unfortunate things do happen. I guess when they're your friends, you just have to bite the bullet and smile back. Biting bullets takes a lot skill, you know. They come and go really quick, and leave a hole behind them. So what do you do with an ugly hole?
.... colour it in yellow and blue and decorate it with stickers.
or take nice pieces of cloth and patch it over it like my favourite skirt.
