Went to Santa Monica Pier for a little cycle and to see new sights. YUQING! that's restaurant is Bubba Gump's Shrimp & Co. It's opened by the characters of Forrest Gump the movie. which i thought was cool. We had dinner there and at the funfair, Gan won 2 Homer Simpsons, as paraded by Herry. There was a reggae concert there too. pretty happening.
I love Disneyland! It's a childhood thing again. hee. and we took "It's a Small World" ride. the happiest ride there.
The grand finale at Disneyland was the spectacular fireworks show. it was absolutely stunning. i love it.
I went with 2 guys to universal. one of them was 1.9m, the other was 1.89m. man, i'm tiny. Well, honestly, i wished we cld stay for more of universal cos i didn't get to see much while i was there. missed out on alot of studio tours and stuff, which was supposed to be the highlight! sad. At dinner, there was an all-star comedy show at the restaurant we ate at. just that the jokes aren't really my kinda stuff. My favourite ride which we waited really long for: Jurassic Park ride, was worth the wait. it was wet! and fun!
The ADM Work & Travel girls came to LA! Elgin and I brought them around, good thing Elgin drove. yay! It was a very fruitful day cos we went to so many places. The next night, the 4 girls: Felice, Jiahui, Kaman and Erica, came and stayed over at my apt. and it was Felice's birthday! i got a cake and we surprised her after she came out of the shower. happy birthday Felice!
My last day at UCLA. I went around my sch building to take photos to remember the place by.
My Apt: MARGAN APT
I'm gonna miss my apt. Though I stayed there alone and had no roommate to share my joys with, but still. it was a cosy little unit where i spent awake, asleep, eating, studying, cooking, and just hanging around when i'm not out.
JAPAN! Day 1 & 2.
Our 3 days in Japan. Must say I'm very impressed with the Japanese. They really are a special bunch of ppl. disciplined, respectful, humble, yet full of pride for their country, and not to mention very fashionable and good-looking. haha! even those selling desserts by the roadside wear shirt, pants and vest. very smart looking. we scouted around and realised how hard it was to find a dustbin! yet the streets in Japan are so clean! isn't that something we singaporeans can learn from?
Japan. Day 3.
The group all split up on the last day, doing what each of us wanted, and it turned out that we were all happy with where we went. Cherin and Joyce went shopping at Harajuku, turned out that it was like a bugis-street place with very cheap deals. they bought alot! Iskandar and Nico went to a hotspring and really enjoyed themselves. Ankur, Agas and myself went to see more sights. we headed to the giant ferris wheel which reminded me of the London eye in england. along the way, we saw their car shows and all their out of the world inventions which was really interesting. All of us only had about 2 hours each of exploring before we had to rush back to meet up with the rest of the group. my group only managed to reach just in time for the bus. phew! apparently we alighted at the wrong station there and we almost forgot the way on the way back. mad rush!
all in all, i'd wanna see Japan again if i have the chance to.
