San Fran and back

San Francisco was really beautiful. A pity that we couldn't stay there for longer. I love all the scenic sights that we saw along the journey there. Had originally planned to leave LA for San fran early in the morning. but the car we had reserved was returned late by the previous customer. so we had to wait till afternoon! but in the end we got our lovely SUV (it was really huge). The last row was actually rather spacious as compared to the one my parents have. nice car! =)




There were low clouds/ fog that hovers over the land. A nicely surreal looking surrounding. and we took photos on the road! hee.


We couldn't do too much on the first day cos we reached our lodging at 2am!


Next morning we went to Union Square and Fisherman's Wharf. took a nice little ferry that brought us around the different attractions, like the Golden Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island.




We were walking around and some ppl were giving our free ice cream! walked abit more, and a shop was giving free chocolate! THeN walk somemore and we bumped into the first ice cream givers who apparently didn't recognise us and insisted that we get ice cream from them. haha. so we have 2 ice creams each! cheap thrill, literally.





We checked out the world's "Crookedest Street" at Lombard St. it's rather pretty, and its decorated like a garden. people actually stay on that slope! it's crooked because the road is really steep and so they have to zig-zag it downslope.



Dinner at The House of Nanking. and we had the meal that made up for all the meals in LA. haha. so exotic and spicy.

Went to Yosemite the 3rd day. I rediscovered my love for climbing (rocks). we climbed the rocks around the waterfall. visited some interesting trees and saw animals.

I wished we could stay there for longer. there were still so many places that i wanted to go to. but we didn't have enough time. =(
