Ode to the toothache (without the tooth)
Ohh toothless toothache, when will you peace out
i chew on your stitches that you spit out
you're a pain in the gum, that's what i can't say
so smoothly pulled out, i thought it was a good day.
Ohh toothless toothache, my mum hates you mad
'worse than child labour', i thought she didn't mean that.
she's got 4 kids dancing at home, while 3 teeth left stuck inside
i thought the bible said ...oh wells, i'm surprised at her mind
Ohh toothless toothache, never mind my slow eating
my left is aching too, cos the right is so unnerving
bad breath i smell, i faint, i stink
food play hide-and-seek, in hole-ly holes i have to peek
Ohh toothless toothache, you senseless thing
you aren't there but i can't widely grin
you remind me of a friend who isn't around
but absence flickers thoughts once unfound
though i think its just me being unsound.
