I'm finally back.
It has been an exciting 2 weeks, running here and there and back here again. We had ADM FOC from 19th to 21st July, and cluedo turned out really good too! too bad i was having a backache while being station master, it was quite eek... cos i was standing all the way. amazingly, even though i was carrying a lightstick, my friend couldn't even see my face in the night... a funny night it was. Kudos to all the committee people who made this camp a success.. the bash, the cluedo night, the dance, games and logistics, it was alot going on, yet it went well. Well done everybody! and well done Ka Man, special mention! haha.. cos i think u did a great job! =)
Sadly, i haven't been able to join my group much throughout the camp. We were so shorthanded in so many areas! *hint hint, hopefully we will have more people joining the camp next year, and things will be so much better. though i still think we've been quite successful and we all miss camp already!!!
In the end, the demon group won. but in my heart, i support (the real) Angels..hahhaa.. NOT Danny's angels..haha.. But we all had a great time. I still love God. =) love love love.... hee
Glad the 'cleanup' crew after the camp still had time for fun. hee.. we had a movie marathon! yay! so fun!
After that, All thanks to Boo, i managed to come along to help out in this short film production for the National Museum. They're gonna play it for the next decade in the museum! I wanted to learn from the professionals how they handled such productions. and it was a big production!! It looked so cool and cool again on the screen. it is gonna be played on a 240 degree screen! Look out for it people! The Art Department people had fun together. i helped write letters for this portuguese man. boo and ellen wrote xiao kai (calligraphy) for the chinese man. Went for 2 days out of the 3 days. wow. it was tiring. didn't expect myself to be so bushed after it. Just fell asleep whenever i could after that. Poor Yilan.. i think she had to wait for a while cos i fell asleep until someone called..
And welcome the new OCBC scholars! i think its been a real real blessing to have this grant. Thank God. many-fold.
Someone asked, "What's the mystery of life?"
There's so much to say about it but for that moment, i didn't know how to start. Like, perhaps, life is a preparation for eternity. But is there a good statement or sentence that pretty much summarises everything? I didn't know how to put it.
