running and sitting around

Phew... finally sent out all the emails to all those hospitals and nursing homes (so far). anyways...

glad i decided to make a run down to 2 more locations. i found one gorgeous place at thomson! love it love it so much! its beautiful. and it has everything we want for the film. great. i'm happy. hope we can have the approval to film there. please oh please... followed my mum to the nursing home in toapayoh. there was a group of her church people there doing volunteer work, celebrating birthdays and cutting hair (*wow). saw a cute incident though.
i bumped into my mum's friend on the 4th floor while i was touring the building on my own. she was helping to cut the elderly's hair. so i stopped by to talk to her. at the same time, she was calling the next elderly woman in line to cut her hair. she was saying "no no..." in chinese and pointing at the other hairdresser (although still looking the aunty) saying " wo yao ni...yao ni. wo yao ni..". ouch. but it was cute. hope my aunty friend wasn't hurt though.

realised what a busy woman my mum is today. i think she's superwoman... =)

read The Little Prince today. it's really an interesting read. the book is split into 2 stories, supposedly related to each other. i love the first story of the book. i've not read anything like it. but somehow after the 1st story, the whole mood changes and i found myself not in the right mode of mind to read the 2nd part(Letter to a Hostage). towards the end, i had a strange thought. i thought that this story/narrator talked too much! like, there's this naggy feeling.haha... perhaps that's why i wanna do film. cos films show, while books say...generalisation, but i think it goes pretty much that way. after it all, my heart just feels heavy and slightly annoyed. hm... oh well, talk about channeling ur energies. i did push ups straight after i put the book down! arghhh!!! at least i get a small exercise. haha... oh well, its really a philosophical book. which is seriously interesting! the funny thing is, my roomie and my mum didn't understand the book. perhaps to read it, u just gotta think like a child? hee...

time for real exercises man...

well, these few days has set me thinking of the ol' days.... my, how it has changed me. both yays and sighs.
