I went to pulau ubin on fri 10th and came back on 12th march. the entire 3 days and, especially those 2 nights there are still in my mind. amazing. i just thank God again and again that such an opportunity landed itself in my path, and in the paths of my friends who went along with me: ying, ellen and sarah. we went there to film the whole camp for their corporate video. :)
i didn't expect it to be OBS style actually. but it is. customised and tailored for the entrepreneurship course. we were invisible people for a while. but i learnt things from an observer's point of view. which was surprisingly...enlightening! should do more of this kinda thing. observe.
i love the awesome rocks~ (and the fishermen there who made the whole scenery more beautiful)
i love the sea ("backwash!backwash!")
i love the water
i love the night sky
i love the sunset
i love the OBS instructors
i love the happy and persevering participants "1, 2 row! 1,2 pose!~" (*in front of our cameras)
i love the wonderful company i had (ellen, ying, sarah)
i love the jellyfish! (and joe!)
i love the (speed) boat journey
i love the cloudy clouds ( i saw a mer-man with a moustache... and some puffs...)
i love the skits that Team Orange and Trumps put up
i love our food rations! haha...
i love singing in the night
i love the rain! [though i missed the rainbow... =( ]
i love the jetty ( joe!)
i love the seahorse! (joe!) ;)
i love the moon (and moonlight)
i love the monitor lizard! ( and joe!hee...)
i love the time i get to think and reflect
i love the golden-ness of the entire event
i love all those mussels..... hahaha
in case you're wondering, joe is this guy who acted as the jellyfish-cum-monitor lizard- cum-seahorse in his team's skit. Team Trumps. It was hilarious! i laughed till i cried. apparently, so did ellen. haha. ingenious.
i tell you, it was heartwarming to see the changes the participants went through, seeing them grow, experience changes... see my hair stand? it did.
yup, it was almost like a dream, especially on the 1st night where i just simply get to absorb in the night scene of rocks and sea and the beyond under the bright moon...meanwhile lying on rocks that kept poking my head, but that wasn't the point... :)
i still can't believe it. i also can't believe that i'll be so affected by this whole ubin trip. i'm still missing it. and it was only 3 days. 3 meaningful and apparently, impactful days.
oh well, i still gave myself the treat that i promised myself after the camp: a nice piece of cake from a coffee club.
i've got sandels tanlines.
hee =)
