how deep is love?

To love someone from the inside out
Is to love one without conditions
To meet their every need
To see past their weaknesses
To present them perfect at all times

Yet to love someone greater
Is to allow them to blossom
To encourage them to soar... further
To release them to shine brighter
This painful joy is to have loved them... more.

what if the people you love and care for are hard to love? of course, you'll want them to blossom and soar, you want the best for them. but in the meantime of their process of reaching there, you've allowed their weaknesses to hurt you? or pinch you. is it still love or is that less of a love? or a burden for them to want them to have more than what they have or are already?

well, today i watched a french film called Les Choristre ( The Choir). There's so much evidences of forgiveness in the story. in the characters. disappointments.hurts.pain.violences.love.care.covering up.second chances.love. perhaps to answer the above: love forgives. forgiving the person who has hurt you. intentionally or unconsciously.
haha... maybe to quote what my buddy quoted of me (something that i said but don't remember) : Love is the act of giving, and not of receiving.
may i also add, that its also not just words. don't say you love a person. it doesn't prove anything. i think true love will spur a person to do something, to act. to give.

then again, there may be more than that...
